Mooney is 21 he is originally from London but he moved to Ireland in 2008. He started going out clubbing in the rave scene when he was 16/17 going to as many raves as he could possibly get to. He found it very hard to find people to go out with as many of his friends didn't like the style of music that he was into so sometimes he would have to go on his own but it wasn't long until he started meeting people of all shapes and sizes, weirdness and wonderfulness.
He used to go out every weekend without fail. It wasn't long until he came across a night called Happy Nation which not only had its own night but its own radio station too and its very own family of ravers. He met some amazing people at Happy Nation that he is still very good friends with now and that have helped him to live out his dream of becoming a up and coming DJ.
Mooney has had some of the very best from Happy Nation show him a few tricks and turns to help him on his way, PSR gave him just one lesson and from there Mooney has been able to create his very own sound and style. Mooney has a love for all different genres ranging from Hardcore, Hard Trance, Hard House to Bounce, he loves to play to the crowd and for the crowd what ever genre that he likes; anything hard, fast and bouncy.
Mooney has been influenced by many DJ’s in the scene but the ones that stand out the most for him are DJ PSR, he got him into everything, such as Bounce and Hard Trance, Kevin Energy as a hardcore DJ Mooney just loves his Freeform and the passion he has behind his DJing and also Technikal as he just smashes it and brings a fantastic energy and love behind his music.
Mooney only just started his djing after all those years of clubbing but he brings such high energy and love to his sets bringing the best of Hard Trance and Bounce!
